PMC approves new town planning scheme in Phursungi and Uruli Devachi

To decongest the city centres, the Pune civic body has approved major real estate developments in the newly merged villages- Phursungi and Uruli Devachi of the Municipal areas. According to the Pune Municipal Corporation, the new town planning scheme related work will take place under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) mission.

The civic body is also planning to develop a ring road on the peripheries of these areas so that they enjoy smooth connectivity with other surrounding areas. This will further add a positive impact on the real estate market of these municipal areas in the future.

Phursungi

Surrounded by well-developed areas like Pimpri-Chinchwad, Kharadi, Kalyani Nagar, Undri, Koregaon Park etc, Phursungi is situated in the south-eastern part of Pune. The area is also in vicinity to Hadapsar, Loni Petroleum Distribution hub, and Wadki Industrial Belt. Many leading developers are developing their residential projects here. One can easily find property in various size and configuration.

Currently, the property price here starts at 3,637 per sq.ft. and goes to a maximum of 5,558 per sq.ft.

Uruli Devachi

Uruli Devachi also lies in the south-east of Pune with major locality like Keshav Nagar in close proximity to it. The real estate market of this locality is still under-developed but with new town planning scheme announcement it will definitely take off in future. At present, most of the land here is present in the form of plots, with price ranging from 8.50 lakh to 37.5 lakh.
