Kishore Biyani acquire CoWorking Space in Mumbai for his Artificial Intelligence Company

Kishore Biyani acquired an entire floor that comprises of 375 seats at CoWrks co-working space in Mumbai. This space is bought by Biyani for his recently launched data science and artificial intelligence company Tathastu. The office is located in the worli area of the Mumbai city.

Biyani and his strategy making team will have an office here and this is one of the rare deals that involved the senior management of a giant company. The big firms and business entities acquire office space in co-working facilities to carry out its research, marketing, compliance and other such work.

CoWrks co-working center is located in the 12-storey commercial tower, Birla Centurion and is spread over three floors that also have headquarters of five top companies that are Vodafone-Idea, Hindalco, Woori Bank, Raymonds and Huawei.

The complete first floor of this co-working space will be acquired by Kishore Biyani and his strategy making team to work in the Worli centre.

Sidharth Menda, CEO, CoWrks, confirmed the deal with Biyani and said that the giant business companies have started accepting co-working spaces by manifolds. He also said that the company is managing more than 2.5 million sq. ft. of the flexible workspaces in nine cities and 70% of these spaces have been acquired by large business groups. The company is expecting to witness this rise by 80% in this year.

Biyani’s lease agreement for seats with CoWrks at the Worli center is initially made for 30 months which has the possibility to be extended.

The CoWrks is expecting 70% occupancy level after finalizing this deal.
