The AIGEAHS is an Association of Indian Government Employees Housing Scheme that promises to offer residential property in the budget of a common man. First income group is of EWS i.e. Economically Weaker Section where you can buy a residential property between 300 Sq.Ft. and 500 Sq.Ft. areas which will cost up to 5 Lakhs INR.
The second income group is LIG – Low Income Group which offers the opportunity to own 500 Sq.ft – 600 Sq.ft properties that cost between 7 Lakh and 12 Lakh INR.
Third in a row is MIG –Middle Income Group who can turn their dream home into reality by purchasing home unit between 600 Sq.ft -1200 Sq.ft area. For this, the prospect has to pay 12 Lakhs -50 Lakh INR.
This scheme is launched in the backdrop of delivering Housing for all by 2022. Also, the RERA [Real Estate Regulatory Agent] gave a boost to the real estate sector. The strict guidelines to ensure timely possession and legal mode of payment have brought back the confidence of lakhs of home buyers.
